2. Delivery Policy

We aim to deliver orders within a reasonable timeframe. However, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including traffic, weather conditions, or logistical disruptions. In such circumstances, Jamii Furniture Kenya shall not be held responsible for late delivery or failure to deliver.

2.1 Delivery Acknowledgement Upon delivery, you (or your authorized representative) will be required to sign a delivery acknowledgement confirming that the items were received in good condition. Anyone present at the delivery address will be considered authorized to accept and sign for the goods.

2.2 Unattended Deliveries If you request that items be left unattended, Jamii Furniture Kenya will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage after the delivery has been completed.

2.3 Rescheduling Deliveries If you need to postpone your delivery, please notify the showroom at least two (2) days in advance. Next-day delivery after postponement is subject to the delivery schedule available on that day.

2.4 Access & Entry Requirements Deliveries will be made through the main entrance. Customers must inform us at the time of purchase if delivery involves special access requirements such as stairs, narrow entrances, limited lift access, or restricted premises entry. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that purchased items can fit through doors, corridors, staircases, and lifts into the intended room. Delivery beyond the entrance is done at the customer’s risk.

2.5 Delivery Timeframe Deliveries are generally completed within 5–7 days from the date of purchase, depending on route scheduling and traffic conditions.

2.6 Delivery Charges Nairobi Deliveries: Delivery is FREE for total orders exceeding KES 500,000.00. Orders below KES 500,000.00 attract a flat delivery fee of KES 1,000.00. Deliveries outside Nairobi may be arranged through third-party transport providers at an additional cost payable by the customer.

2.7 Additional Delivery Charges Additional charges may apply where:

  • deliveries involve stairs or non-ground floor access,
  • site access is difficult or restricted,
  • delivery arrangements are changed less than 24 hours before the scheduled time,
  • special handling or extra labour is required.

Any additional charges must be paid directly to the delivery team. Customers are encouraged to notify us of any unusual delivery conditions before confirming the sale.
